The LDC Group on climate change recognizes that current business-as-usual approaches to climate change are not working, nor are global climate responses ambitious enough. In response, the LDC Group has taken decisive action to lead from the front in raising ambition, launching the LIFE-AR as a vehicle for driving this forward. 

 

As a framework for the countries to implement, a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) has been developed and signed between LDCs Group Chair, and International Institute for Environment and Development (IIED) as an interim secretariat to the LIFE-AR and the front runner countries.
